Our PGDM 2nd year students stood 2nd in “Ad Mad Show” at the State Level Management Meet held in the Dept. of Business Administration, Sambalpur University.
A seminar on Financial Market was conducted along with Bombay Stock Exchange in campus on 11-April-2012
Dr. Suvendu Das (GM - HR, PPL) visited our campus and delivered a talk on “Right Fit for First Job”on 10th February 2012.
The Business Standard conducted a mega “Business Quiz” competition in our campus on 5th March 2012.
The student of our 2nd trimester, Shovan Kar won 1st prize in Solo Song Competition in “Convergence” held at IBCS, SOA University on 10th February 2012.
For the first time in the History of “B” Schools in Odisha", the students of INNOVATION have got an opportunity to work in an International Projects of "Bernard van Leer Foundation, Netherlands".
Mr. Dilip Khuntia (Executive, BSE) conducted a workshop on 'Derivative' on 23rd January 2012 in our campus.
The student of our 2nd trimester “Sujan Kanta Dalai” won 1st prize in Marathon Race in the Inter "B" - School Event “Alma Fiesta 2012” conducted on 14-15th January 2012 at IIT, BBSR.
The student of our 5th trimester “Rajesh Nayak” won 1st prize in Extempore competition in the Inter "B" - School Event “Odyssey 2012” conducted during 14-15th January 2012 at IMIS, BBSR.
The students of Innovation participated in the in the International Seminar organized by IIPM, Rourkela on 23rd October 2011.

Prof. (Dr.) Santosh Kumar Prusty from IIM, Shillong visited our campus for a student interaction programme on 18th October 2011.

Our students presented paper in the AICTE sponsored National Conference at KIET, Ghaziabad on 17th September 2011.

First placement eligibility test conducted for 2nd year PGDM students by eminent industry experts on 24th September 2011.


The students at IBS celebrated the Teacher's Day to honour the faculties of the institute & to commemorate the Birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

INNOVATION -The Business School celebrated “Ganesh Chaturthi” in a splendid manner.

Mr. C.K. Podder, Executive Director (HR) of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited visited our campus and delivered a talk on 28th of August 2011.

Induction of 3rd Batch PGDM students conducted successfully. Eminent Guests from industry and academics like, Mr. N.K Taori (MD, Amtek Metal & Mining Ltd, Odisha), Mr. Anurag Khanna (Branch Head of L&T, Bhubaneswar), Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar Panda & Prof. (Dr.) Meera Panigrahi etc, addressed our students in this occasion during 15th to 20th August 2011.

Industrial Visit

Mr. Dillip Khuntia, Executive of Bombay Stock Exchange addressed our 1st year PGDM students on Stock Market & SIP Know How on 28th May 2011.

Our PGDM 3rd Trimester students visited VISA Steel located in Kalinganagar, (Odisha), for gaining a real time industry exposure under the “Industrial Visit Programme” on 7th May 2011.

Mr. Dilip Satpathy, Chief Editor (Business Standard) of Eastern Region visited our campus on the Finale of Business Quiz organized by Business Standard, Bhubaneswar & Presentation Competition conducted on 18th April 2011.

Placement Activities 2011

Mr. Prasanna Panda (AGM) of “The New Indian Express” conducted campus placement interview on 31.03.2011.

Mr. Uday Guha (Sr. Vice - President,HR) of “Aditya Birla Group” visited our campus and conducted a placement interview for PGDM Final Trimester Students on 26.03.2011.

Call for Care Health Services Limited a Sahyog Foundation Group Company conducted campus interview on 7th February 2011.

Mr. Rajid Ali Khan, State Head (Timex, Bhubaneswar) visited our campus on 5th February 2011 and delivered a talk on “Trends in Sales and Service Management”.

VISA Steel conducted a Campus Drive on 22nd January 2011 for our final year PGDM students.

Reliance Retail conducted a Campus Drive on 14th January 2011.

Ms. Jayshree Mishra (AGM –HR, TCS, Mumbai) delivered a talk on “Current Hiring & Recruitment Trends in Corporate” on 12th January 2011.

Mr. Pramatesh Mohanty (Agency Manager, Bharti AXA, BBSR) conducted a campus interview on 11th January 2011.

Prof. Dr. T. Dash an industry expert cum academician delivered a talk on “Challenges for Today’s Young Manager in the corporate World” on 18th December 2010.

Mr. Prasanna Kumar Panda, AGM,  "The New Indian Express Group" inaugurated the student Marketing Club named “STIMULEX” on 09/10/2010.

Criteria

INNOVATION aims at diversified class to promote varied learning experiences. It encourages people from different economic, social, cultural, ethnic and geographical backgrounds.

The candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Those awaiting final results/appearing for final examinations can also apply.

The candidates should have qualified in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/Orissa JEE/ IBSAT examinations, are eligible to apply for this course.

Desired Qualities

Apart from CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/Orissa JEE /IBSAT score, the final selection is based on multiple criteria inputs such as performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview as well as academic background. Due weightage will also be given to defense personnel, prior work experience, extra-curriculum activities and other notable achievements.

Admission Procedures:

There are 2 ways through which you can apply for PGDM course at IBSchool:

  • Candidates can collect the Application form from our campus / corporate office or download the same from the website. The filled up application to be  send  to INNOVATION corporate office along with application fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of a demand draft made on any nationalized bank in favour of “Innovation Trust” payable at Bhubaneswar.
     

  • Apply Online through DD Mode : by filling up the Online Application Form. Take a print out and send it along with the documents and Application Fees to IBSchool.
     
  • Apply through Online Transaction: by filling up the Form and pay the Application Fees online through credit cards / debit cards/
    Net Banking/ Cash Cards/ Mobile Payments.
